The National Honor Society of Weyauwega-Fremont High School is a duly chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. Membership is open to those students who meet the required standards in the four areas of: scholoarship, leadership, service, and character. Standards for selection are established by the National Office of NHS and have been revised to meet our local chapter needs. Students are selected to be members by a five member Faculty Council approved by the Principal.

-Support the Weyauwega Community Dinners with volunteers every first Monday of the Month
-Fremont Elementary's Halloween Hoopla
-Helping with Focus on The Future Day
-Salvation Army Bell Ringing in December
-Santa Shoppe (Monetary)
-Adopt A Family (Monetary)
-Reading to Elementary Students
-Tutoring throughout the district
-Help with Fremont Elementary Knowledge - A - Thon
-Working with Children at St. Paul's Daycare; 2nd Semester
-Serving meal for Veteran's Panel
-Serving at The Senior Banquet

Selection Procedures:

Important Dates: For 2017-18
-November 15h: Eligibility letters hand delivered in school
-December 1st: NHS Application Packets are due no later than 3:15 pm.
-December 5th: NHS Faculty Council receives all Application Packets
-December 13th: NHS Faculty Council Meeting
-December 15th: NHS selection & non-selection letters are mailed
-February 5th : NHS Induction Ceremony @ 7:00 p.m. in the MS Cafetorium
